Case against accused Stamford teacher Danielle Watkins continued
The case against a Stamford teacher accused of having sex more than 20 times with a student was continued in court today.
Police say Danielle Watkins, 32, turned herself in earlier this month after having a sexual relationship with a student that began when he was 17.
When the student tried to break it off, police say Watkins threatened him.
She is also accused of providing the victim and another student with marijuana.
Watkins is on leave pending the outcome of the case and is getting treatment at a hospital that deals with psychiatric and addictive disorders.
