Police: Success Market on Success Avenue in Bridgeport robbed at gunpoint

Police say a man robbed a market in Bridgeport at gunpoint Monday night.

The suspect allegedly pulled a gun on the store's cashier at the Success Market on Success Avenue just before 10 p.m. Monday. Police say the cashier gave the suspect cash from the register before he ran out of the store.

The store's owner, who did not want to go on camera, told News 12 Connecticut that the suspect only got away with about $50.

Police say the suspect fled in a Honda Civic with an accomplice. No one was hurt in the robbery.
