Police say a teen in Stamford was attacked over a girl and an iPhone, and residents are expressing concern that the area is becoming less safe.
Police say the 14-year-old boy was beaten and robbed by other teens Monday. It is the latest act of violence to happen in the area.
According to police, an 85-year-old woman was attacked in November outside Stamford Town Center. Another incident involved a man firing several rounds into a crowd outside a nightclub. Police say there was also an attack on two teens outside the mall.
Police say they are doing everything they can to stop the violence. They say there are more patrol units downtown, especially late at night when the violent incidents are happening.
