Brittany Hacker accused of leaving her child alone

An Easton woman is facing charges after police say she left her 4-year-old daughter in a room alone at the Fairfield Motor Inn on the Post Road.

Police say Brittany Hacker, 24, was charged with risk of injury to a minor and leaving a child unsupervised.

They say Hacker's ex-husband called police after she told him she left their daughter with a friend in another room at the motel.

Police say when officers arrived, the child was in Hacker's room by herself.
