Thousands of workers in Connecticut will be getting a raise this week.
Starting Thursday, the state's minimum wage will increase to $9.15 an hour.
That is a 45-cent raise.
It is part of the Gov. Dannel Malloy's plan to increase the minimum wage to $10.10 an hour by 2017.
