Bridgeport police are looking for the person who shot two people at a club.

Police say the incident took place at Delight Lounge on Barnum Avenue just after 2 a.m. on Thursday.

Officers say one shooting took place inside the business, the other outside. The victim that was found inside, 34-year-old Joseph Gordon, was wounded in his leg. The second victim, 27-year-old Rashawn Clark, suffered a graze wound to his head.

Neither injury was life-threatening.

Investigators say they did recover one handgun inside the lounge. They say some key witnesses may have left the scene before authorities arrived.

Police say that there have been several shootings at the same street corner over the past 15 years, one of them fatal.

Paul Osakwe, owner of nearby Zeke's Bar and Grill, says that part of the east side is changing as more mainstream business owners like him move into the area. He hopes in time that violent crimes will become the exception and not the rule.
