Northeast Utilities to change name
There will be a new name for an embattled utility company.
Northeast Utilities is the parent company of Connecticut Light and Power and Yankee Gas.
The Hartford and Boston based company will now be known as Eversource Energy.
The company says the rebranding is part of an effort to improve its brand and customer service.
