The words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. came alive on Saturday at a performance in Stamford.
The workshop was led by actor and author David Mills. Mills performed several of King's speeches, including "Promised Land" and the iconic "I Have a Dream" speech.
Organizers told News 12 that people attending the performance were also able to take part in a writing workshop based on King's "Letter from Birmingham Jail," an important part of civil rights history.
Mills says he believes the work of Dr. King continues to have a very positive impact on all people's lives.
