Man seriously injured in Bridgeport crash

A Trumbull man was seriously injured in a crash in Bridgeport Sunday.

It happened around 3 a.m. on Frenchtown Road near Park Drive.

The 25-year-old appeared to slam into a fence, tree and large rocks on the side of the road.

Several neighbors, including Naomi Santiago say they called 911 and ran outside to try to help.

Santiago says she and her mother told the young man help was on the way.

She says fire crews had to cut the man out of the car.

Bridgeport police are investigating the crash.
