Man charged in Shelton hit-and-run appears in court

A Shelton man charged in a deadly hit-and-run appeared in court Friday.

William Donofrio was arrested in connection with the incident two weeks ago.

Authorities say he struck 54-year-old Teresa Glossy last May, at the intersection of Howe Avenue and Hill Street.

They say Donofrio cleaned and hid his car immediately after the incident.

Donofrio's attorney has entered a not guilty plea.
