Man arrested in sexual assault of girl at bus stop

A 31-year-old New York man was arrested Thursday and is facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting and exposing himself to a girl at her school bus stop.

Police say the 14-year-old victim gave them an accurate description of Humberto Garcia-Polacio and was able to identify him in a picture.

Police say the girl was waiting for her school bus on Ursula Place and Orange Street last October when Garcia-Polacio exposed himself to her and touched her inappropriately.

Garcia-Polacio, who is from Uruguay, has two previous arrests for indecent exposure. Officials are investigating his immigration status.
