Greenwich police say a burglary suspect is facing charges today after being found with a pair of brass knuckles and a knife along with burglary tools outside of a multifamily home.

Police say 33-year-old Richard Congiu is facing numerous felony charges in connection with a break-in at a home on Alexander Avenue Friday morning.

Police say they saw a basement door opened and shattered glass on the ground when they saw Congiu who claimed he was waiting to meet a friend.

The 33-year-old is expected to be in court next week.
