Police: Man hospitalized after Norwalk hit-and-run crash

Norwalk police are asking for the public's help finding the person responsible for a hit-and-run crash that sent a man to the hospital early Sunday morning.

The crash happened on Commerce Street, not far from Wall Street just before 1 a.m.

Police say a small, white car struck a man who was crossing the street and never stopped.

They don't have a license plate, but tell News 12 the car will have front-end damage.

Police say the man hit by the car sustained a leg injury, but is expected to survive.
