Canton H.S. principal criticizes students for ‘Trump’ chant

Students at Canton High School are being criticized by their principal for using hate speech after they chanted President Donald Trump's name during a basketball game against a school from Hartford.



The principal says about seven or eight students crossed the line with their chants of "Trump, Trump, Trump!" during Tuesday night's game.



The student body at the Hartford school is predominantly black and Latino.
