Stamford police: Teen arrested for sexually assaulting child relative

Police in Stamford have arrested a man for allegedly sexually assaulting a child.

According to police, 19-year-old Douglas Hus-Flores is related to the female victim.

They say the incident happened Wednesday night on Seaside Avenue.

Officers say the victim was first taken to Stamford Hospital, then transferred for more physical exams.

Police say Hus-Flores is from Guatemala, and they are unsure of his immigration status.

They say this appears to be the only sexual assault incident between him and the victim.
