Around a coating to an inch of snow blanketed southern Connecticut but areas north of the Merritt got more.

Thursday will see a slight chance of freezing drizzle early on in the morning but things will warm up and the snow will melt because of a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the upper-30s.

There is a chance for more snow on Friday evening and Saturday with a chance for a moderate winter storm Sunday through Monday.
