Forecast: Hot and humid, temperatures in the high-80s

Conditions are expected to be dry Wednesday across western Connecticut, and a hot and humid day is on the horizon.

News 12 Connecticut Meteorologist Bruce Avery says temperatures Wednesday will be in the mid to high-80s, with mostly sunny skies.

Temperatures overnight will drop into the low-60s, with mostly clear skies.

Thursday is expected to see temperatures in the low-80s, with mostly sunny skies.

Friday should have similar temperatures in the low-80s, with mostly cloudy skies. There is the chance of a thunderstorm.
