At least 3 hospitalized following 5 car accident in Stamford
At least three people are hospitalized after a crash in Stamford involving five cars.
It happened last night near the corner of Courtland and Hamilton avenues.
A woman living around the area for 25 years says drivers need to slow down. She has seen her fair share of accidents, but says this one is by far the worst.
One of the vehicles ended up on its side and an airbag in at least one of them deployed.
According to other neighbors, it’s certainly not the first accident they've seen in the area, and are hoping something will be done.
“They just need to slow down and be cognizant of the traffic light, and really just be careful,” says Chris Strain of Stamford.
There is no word from officials on what led up to the collision, or on the condition of the people in the hospital.
