Video shows aftermath of Bridgeport shooting
A News 12 Connecticut viewer sent in video showing the aftermath of a police-involved shooting that killed a teen in Bridgeport.
The video shows 15-year-old Jayson Negron on the ground shortly before his death Tuesday, after a police officer shot him during a chase in which authorities say he struck another officer with a stolen car.
The video has gone viral, but due to its graphic content, News 12 is choosing not to show it.
The viewer who sent it in says it shows Negron face down on the ground in handcuffs -- still moving after being shot inside a stolen car on Fairfield Avenue.
Negron's relatives say the video contradicts the version of events they were given by police.
Bridgeport Chief of Police AJ Perez and Mayor Joe Ganim both declined to comment on the video.
State police are handling the investigation.
