Psychiatric hospital starts online show on mental health
A New Canaan hospital has started an online show to raise awareness about mental health and addiction.
Silver Hill Hospital has partnered with a local news streaming service called the HAN Network to  launch "Straight Talk with Tracey." The talk show is hosted by Tracey Masella, a licensed clinical social worker, and debuted on May 11.
Masella says the show's mission is to destigmatize mental health issues and get people talking about them openly.
"We're hoping it will start conversations among clinicians, families, book groups, churches, schools, whoever tunes in and gets the conversation going," Masella said.
Episodes will air the second Thursday of every month at 12 p.m. on the HAN Network. Past episodes of the shows can be found on Silver Hill Hospital's YouTube channel.
