Hundreds of supporters, protesters gather outside U.S. Coast Guard Academy during President Trump’s speech

NEW LONDON -

President Trump delivered a commencement address today at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London.

While the commencement ceremony was invitation-only, hundreds of people for and against the president gathered outside the academy to get their voices heard.

It was the first time President Trump visited Connecticut since taking office.
