Study: Interstate 95 most dangerous highway in Connecticut; ranked 19th for crashes, fatalities

NORWALK -

A dangerous distinction for a major road through Connecticut.

The vehicle tracking company Geotab.com compiled data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Federal Highway Administration to come up with the most dangerous highways.

According to the site, Interstate 95 is the most dangerous highway in Connecticut.

It ranked number 19 on the list for crashes, as well as fatalities.

An average of 15 people died on the road every year over the last 10 years.
