Trumbull attorney gets prison for profiting from scheme to defraud life insurance companies
A man from Trumbull has been sentenced to three years in prison for acting in a scheme to defraud life insurance companies.
According to officials, David Quatrella, 62, worked with others to assist elderly people with applying for multimillion-dollar life insurance policies.
The attorney profited over $270,000 from the scheme.
Quatrella is currently released on bond and must report to prison in July.
