Some Greenwich residents remain displaced after a small electrical fire broke out at an apartment complex Thursday afternoon.
According to Red Cross representatives, a tree fell on a power line, sparking a small electrical fire and causing a major power outage at the Quarry Knoll apartments. They say nobody was hurt, but more than 20 people had to leave their homes.
The Red Cross says it put residents in hotels and gave them assistance as workers tried to restore power.
Some of the residents were able to return to their homes Friday, without the power on. There is currently no word on when power will be fully restored to all of the buildings.
