Woman sentenced in Sandy Hook shooting threat case

A woman from Florida who made death threats against a man whose son was killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting has been sentenced.

Lucy Richards, 57, will spend five months behind bars and five months of home detention.

Richards pleaded guilty to interstate transmission of threats.

According to prosecutors, Richards sent the messages after viewing conspiracy theory websites.
