3 businesses accused of serving minors in fatal DUI crash

Stamford police on Friday charged the permittees and bartenders at three establishments accused of providing the alcohol that led to a double-fatal DUI accident.
Police say Thomas Molgano, 20, was drunk and speeding when he crashed into a tree and car parked on Hope Street in February. Molgano and 20-year-old Lucas Salem died in the crash, while a third 20-year-old was badly injured.
Police announced Friday that Vinny’s Restaurant, Tracks and Mystique Gentleman’s Club allowed the three to drink at their establishments, leading to the charges.
One fake ID was found as part of as a police investigation, but they say it is unknown if it was presented at any of the bars the night of the crash.
