Thousands came through Matthews Park in Norwalk Saturday for Connecticut's largest LGBTQ pride celebration.
Organizers of Pride in the Park say the event was about coming together, celebrating all love and supporting one another.
They say this year had even more meaning since June 12 marks one year since the deadly shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.
Pride in the Park featured vendors, games, and activities for families with kids as well as several performances.
It was hosted by Triangle Community Center, which offers resources to the LGBTQ community in Fairfield County.
