A Norwalk woman and a man from New York are facing charges after a pair of unrelated shoplifting incidents at two popular stores in Westport.
Police say 32-year-old Christina Foley tried to walk out of a Stop and Shop grocery store with $437 worth of Red Bull and Monster energy drinks.
They say store security watched her cover the cases of drinks with bags and walk out.
Meanwhile, 52-year-old Richard Becker, of Chappaqua, New York, is charged with making off with hundreds of dollars in clothing.
Police say Becker stole a $950 sweater from Mitchells in January, but then exchanged it for four lesser-priced items and $250 in store credit.
