Beachgoers take advantage of hot temps

The weekend’s summer-like heat continued into Monday, providing many with the beach days they’ve waited for all winter and spring.
News 12 spoke to several beachgoers at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk who said they were taking advantage of the gorgeous weather.
However, not everyone had the day off to enjoy the beach. Ralph Vavala, of Grasso Companies, told News 12 his day consists of paving roads in Norwalk.
“I mean, you're around asphalt, which is 300-plus degrees,” he said. “The only thing you can do is try to drink some water and that's it."
News 12 Connecticut meteorologists say temperatures Tuesday will return to the low-90s, with sunny skies. Conditions will be very hot and humid, and there is a chance of a late-day thunderstorm.
