London police are saying the death toll in the massive fire that engulfed a high-rise apartment has risen to at least 12, and that number is expected to rise.
At least 74 people are injured, with 20 in critical condition.
According to witnesses, they saw people jumping out of the building to escape the fire.
Officials say the fire quickly raced through Grenfell Tower in North Kensington.
A church nearby has been set up as a make-shift command center.
There originally were fears the building could collapse, but a structural engineer, as well as search and rescue crews, believe the tower is not in danger of collapsing.
There is no word yet on what caused the fire.
