A Fairfield girl is capitalizing on the slime craze by starting her own business.
Madison Greenspan, 11, has been part of the new slime-making craze with her friends. The trend is new to her father.
"I didn't even know what slime was until Madison started destroying our kitchen and telling me we had to go to the craft store to go buy some glue," he says.
But Madison said she couldn't find any gallons of clear glue anywhere, which she says makes the best slime. She asked her father if they could just make their own glue, and that's how Maddie Rae's Slime Glue was born.
She made the glue and now markets it with tips on how to make slime on her website.
Her father says she has sold several thousand gallons of slime glue since she started two months ago. He says she is booking birthday parties, too.
