Gov. Malloy signs off on legislation authorizing new tribal casino

Gov. Malloy has signed off on legislation authorizing a new tribal casino in East Windsor.
The governor says the decision is about providing more jobs for residents in Connecticut.
The Mashantucket and Mohegan tribes say the proposed facility will help them compete with the MGM Resorts Casino being built in Massachusetts.
Federal and local authorizations are still needed but construction is scheduled to start by the end of the year.
