NEW CANAAN -

UPDATE 5/22/2018: The charges against Andrew Knight have been dismissed after successful completion of a court approved educational program. The court ordered erasure of any and all records pertaining to the defendant’s arrest.

The teenager from New Canaan facing charges in connection with an underage drinking party back in March was arraigned today.

Andrew Knight appeared this morning in Norwalk Superior Court.

Knight was initially charged with delivering alcohol to minors and permitting a minor to possess alcohol.

A judge approved Knight's application to attend an alcohol education program.

The judge also said if Knight completes the program and does not get arrested for any offensives, his charges will be dropped on March 29, 2018.
