I-95 sees hours of traffic toward beaches, parks

Thousands sat in hours of traffic as Connecticut residents flocked to beaches and parks this Fourth of July.

Even with perfect beach weather, many beach and parkgoers traveling on Interstate 95 told News 12 they almost changed their minds.

“I’ve never seen anything like this,” said one commuter heading to Sherwood Island State Park in Westport.
