Police: Man crashed into 6 vehicles, attacked man

A man was arrested after crashing into six vehicles and allegedly attacking a man Friday afternoon, police say.
Bridgeport police say Benjamin Nieves was high on PCP when he slammed his Chevy Suburban into five cars, a city bus and a utility pole around 1 p.m.
News 12 is told the suspect’s car was totaled.
Police Chief AJ Perez said that Nieves led a police chase to the BP gas station where he attacked an individual pumping gas.
“We were fortunate enough to be able to subdue him by tazing him, holding him down," Perez said.
Police say Nieves is facing multiple charges, including assault on a police officer.
