Thousands turned out in Bridgeport Sunday for a colorful celebration of Puerto Rican culture.
The annual Puerto Rican Parade of Fairfield County is a nonprofit organization that seeks to empower the Puerto Rican community through their culture.
Hundreds of performers were featured in the event that featured dancing and music.
Organizers say the perfect weather Sunday led to one of the biggest turnouts in the history of the event.
