A GoFundMe page set up to help the Bridgeport man who missed a job interview to save the life of a car accident victim has raised more than $50,000 to help him get back on his feet.
Aaron Tucker was on his way to the interview when the accident happened in Westport. Tucker jumped off his bus and sprang into action.
Tucker was recently released from prison and was living in a halfway house, but now he has several job offers on the table and is reportedly deciding which is best for him.
“Everyone's talking about giving me a second chance and I appreciate everyone who's doing what they can for me right now,” says Tucker.
Tucker says the experience has been humbling and hopes people will view him differently.
