A man was pulled from the Housatonic River in Shelton Wednesday, according to police.
Chopper 12 was above the scene near the Sunnyside Boat Dock off River Road.
Police say divers found 46-year-old Willard McDonald, of Stratford, about 2 1/2 hours after numerous 911 calls about a man in distress in the water.
Police say the area is marked "no swimming," and it's unclear if McDonald was actively swimming before he disappeared.
Anyone with information is asked to call Shelton police.
