Ordinance signed for more resident-only parking zones in Stamford

A big win for residents in Stamford who say parking on their own street has been a challenge.
Mayor David Martin, along with members of the board of representatives, signed an ordinance today allowing for more resident-only parking zones in the city.
According to the ordinance, residents can park on their own street, hassle free, as long as they have a permit for their car.
It comes after a three-year ban on adding more of the zones.
Officials say the program will cost each resident $15.
