Officials: 5-year-old girl shot in hand by stray bullet

The father of a 5-year-old girl who was struck by a stray bullet in Bridgeport Sunday night is asking for help tracking down the person responsible.
Arianna Sulaiman was struck in the left hand by a bullet during a birthday party.
The incident occurred around 11 p.m. Sunday on Maplewood Avenue.
Sulaiman, who has been transferred to Yale-New Haven Hospital, will need hand surgery and will remain in the hospital for the coming days.
Her father, Masud Sulaiman, says that the incident could have been much worse because three other children were standing right next to his daughter.
Police say a second victim was grazed in the head about two blocks away but is expected to be fine.
Masud Sulaiman is pleading for anyone with information to call police.
