A woman driving on Stratford Avenue collided with a detective on Main Street, police say.

News 12 is told one of the vehicles turned on its side and the other caught fire.

Officials say both individuals were taken to the hospital. They say the detective has since been treated and released, and the woman is expected to be OK.
