A business owner in Bridgeport is ready to strike back against shoplifters by posting crimes caught on camera to social media sites.
The owner of Bridgeport First Gas on Main Street says a theft that took place Thursday was the last straw.  In response, the owner plans to start posting surveillance footage as a deterrent.
The video of Thursday's theft shows a man appearing to take three boxes of candy before running out the door.
According to Bridgeport police, shoplifters should beware, as business owners are legally allowed to post surveillance videos on social media if they want to.
