NORWALK -

A man from Norwalk has been arrested and accused of trying to choke another person.

Police were called to Toilsome Avenue after receiving a 911 call with an open line.

According to dispatchers, they could hear a man talking about shooting his family.

Police say Douglas Robinson got angry at the victim, who was apparently checking on Robinson's well-being, and attacked him.

They say the victim placed the 911 call.

Both were taken to Norwalk Hospital for evaluation.
