A man has been sentenced to five years in prison for his role in the stabbing death of a man over a spilled cup of coffee.
The charges against James McLamb stemmed from the death of Antonio Muralles, 52, back in March of 2015.
As News 12 Connecticut reported, police said Muralles bumped into Marquest Hall and McLamb outside a McDonald’s and possibly spilled coffee on them. Hall then fatally stabbed Muralles.
McLamb claims he did not know either of the men. He thought Muralles was picking on Hall.
Hall was sentenced last month to 20 years in prison.
