A nursing home in Torrington will reportedly be closing its doors next month.

The closing of Torrington Health and Rehab Center will put more than 100 people out of work.

Spectrum Healthcare, which owns the home, notified the state about the closing last month.

The company reportedly did not give a reason for shutting down the facility.

Most of the people being laid off are nurses or certified nurses' aides.
