Police have identified the victim in Friday's fatal plane crash in New Milford.
Authorities say 57-year-old Anthony Morasco, of New Milford, died when the plane went down near Candlelight Farms Airport. He was a flight instructor.
Police say a woman on board had critical injuries. The other passenger made it to a neighbor's house for help, but officials said he was severely disoriented.
Authorities say the student flight originated out of Danbury.
The plane is registered to Arrow Aviation, the same company that owned the plane that went down in Danbury just two weeks ago. An attorney from Redding was killed in that crash.
In response to the crash, Sen. Richard Blumenthal issued a statement saying, "I am alarmed by the number of small plane crashes that have claimed lives in recent months and years in Connecticut. I urge the NTSB to complete its investigation quickly and thoroughly so we can determine whether action may be warranted to strengthen safety measures for small aircraft."
The FAA is investigating and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will determine the probable cause of the accident.
