Man suspected in bank robberies charged in Westport

WESTPORT -

More charges have been issued for the Bronx man suspected in a string of bank robberies stretching from Connecticut to Rhode Island.

Westport police charged Alpha Jalloh with robbing the TD Bank on Post Road on July 2.

Police in Darien filed charges last week against Jalloh, who is also a suspect in similar hold-ups in Waterbury and Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
