Volunteers hand out school supplies in Norwalk
A Norwalk-based marketing company helped students get ready for school.
Volunteers spent their Saturday giving school supplies to needy students as Inspira Marketing Group held a "Stuff-a-Bus" school supply drive at Kendall Elementary School.
The drive collected notebooks, crayons and glue sticks. Various donation box locations were also available throughout Norwalk.
Mayor Harry Rilling also attended the event to show support to the charitable campaign.
"If we can ever make an investment anywhere, it's in our young people," Rilling said.
Music, food, family activities and even a karate demonstration were also featured at the event.
