Police: Driver jumps from overpass after crash in E. Hartford

EAST HARTFORD -

A man jumped from a highway overpass after his vehicle hit another car, according to state police.

The incident happened in East Hartford along Route 2.

Police say the man's car spun out of control and hit a concrete barrier, after which the other car veered into a guardrail.

The driver then jumped from the overpass and was injured. Police say he is charged with driving without a license.

Two people in the other car were also injured.

Their conditions are unknown at this time.
