Stamford police charge man in overdose death

STAMFORD -

Police in Stamford have charged a man after they were able to trace the drugs used in an overdose back to him.

James Pipicelli, 65, has been charged with manslaughter.

The arrest was the result of a joint investigation between the narcotics and organized crime unit.

Local police departments and prosecutors say they are determined to "throw the book" at drug dealers whose customers die.
